Goldeneye or Perfect Dark?

Postby Sherlock_Hemlock » Thu Jan 26, 2012 9:01 pm

Let's face it, Goldeneye have the stripped down shooter style that we all know and love, but did Perfect Dark's quirky humour and futuristic setting swing it for you? :?: :?: :?:

It's gotta be Goldeneye because it defined and set the benchmark for console shooters and without it we may not have had franchises such as Halo, Call of Duty or Gears of War. Plus Perfect Dark was based on the Goldeneye game engine too if i remember correctly .

OMFG Goldeneye is totally the best game, perfect dark was coded like ages ago and grpahics are crap. If you compare the gameplay goldeneye wins. Lyoko is great you dont know what your on about.. how can you compare call of duty to perfect dark.. LOL!

True, Perfect Dark was written using the same engine as Goldeneye but remember that but remember that PD expanded on the coding to allow for new animations and offered a style of voice acting which told the story in a way which hadn't been done yet.

*Edit*
By extention you could say Call of Duty or Medal of Honor?

Goldeneye or Perfect Dark

Too bad the Xbox 360 version of Perfect Dark was nowhere near its original

I preferred Goldeneye, even though both games are phenomenal. I spent so much of my young childhood staying up all night playing that game.
